Author Biography
Frank J. Shandor, Jr. has dedicated 35 years of his life and career to the hotel industry, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Revenue Management & Training for a group of 50 hotels on the east coast. During those 35 years, Frank held a number of highly responsible and dynamic positions, to include directing the efforts of 100 corporate and field-based hotel consultants and trainers for a portfolio of 2,400 hotels in the United States and Canada. Frank has also successfully owned and managed his own hotel and entertainment complex and was the Corporate Director of Marketing & Sales for a group of 35 hotels. He earned a BA in Economics from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas and holds the title of “Certified Hotel Administrator” from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
During his career, Frank excelled in creating systems and procedures to convert complicated processes to clear and concise techniques for implementation in revenue, service and bottom line improvement for hotels and restaurants. He has adapted some of the tools and concepts he developed for the hotel industry for his own personal use resulting in the personal accomplishment of financial success. In essence, he developed a business model that has worked in his life and that can be successful in the life of most any individual.
Frank believes in everyone’s ability to become a prosperous individual with a feeling of independence and peace of mind. He says that his understanding of the spiritual side of life is a process; a process that Frank continues to explore and, for the purpose of further understanding the deeper mysteries of life, continues to commit time and energy. He realizes that everyone is on a spiritual path. In 1994, Frank took a turn on his spiritual path and has developed, and continues to develop, his philosophy of our human and spiritual nature. He says that success in any area of life involves not only “right” practical action but, even more importantly, “right” spiritual thought. Frank recognizes that “right” practical action is that which builds positive confidence and “right” spiritual thought is that which enhances our ability to tap into the resources of our own innate ability to achieve financial prosperity.
As an author, Frank accepts his responsibility to share his experiences and awakenings with others for the purpose of helping others in their quest for happiness. Frank has developed a particularly strong point of view, which he states early and often in “Financial Prosperity Anyone Can Achieve.” This point of view centers on the fact that the real goal in life is the attainment of peace of mind. He believes that peace of mind takes the place of limitations and assists us in our capability to receive enlightenment, thereby allowing us to bring all the good we can accept into our lives.
Frank’s vision is for his book to be a vehicle that not only assists his readers to bring financial good into their lives but to also help his readers understand the source of their expression.
